At The Upper Room, we are a like-minded community of people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and nations. What we all have in common is an uncompromising passion for the true and living God and His Word. We seek Him earnestly and honestly, not only to know Him and experience His presence but also to serve Him. At the same time, we are equally wary about dropping all the restraints and restrictions of empty and meaningless man-made rules and activity that does not benefit anybody.

Our commitment and loyalty is to Him alone and His Word, not to any particular denomination, tradition or school of thought. When we get together, we try to do so in the same way that the early church did. We keep it simple and we allow the Spirit of God to lead the meeting.
